iAssociate Hint (ü)

For those of you out there struggling with the latest level in iAssociate, here’s a small hint for you… (I know this might come in handy as I’ve received a bunch of emails regarding it =)). Anyway, the hint is that if you for some reason need to enter the german letter ü then you can do this by keeping the letter U pressed for a while, after which you should be presented with the option of choosing different kinds of U’s, ü being one among them.

Perhaps any hints on the bonus puzzles? I am positively stumped on the “Out of the Blue” and “Ace’s High” bonus puzzles…

Right now I won’t comment on those, but I might do that at a later time when more people have had the time to complete them (I don’t want to post any spoilers for people who are still trying to figure them out on their own, at least not just yet… but I might implement some help feature in the game at a later point…)

Love the game!! The bonus feature doesn’t let me enter any letters though. How do I give the answer once it is open?

Just click on the red word and you should be able to enter the letters.

I agree on the desire for hints on the bonus puzzles. I am also stuck on “out of the blue”, and I’ve read every wikipedia and google search result that I can think of looking for the answer.
I solved “Aces High” but I’m very stuck on the bonus for “TV Series”. Again, I’ve google’d and wiki’d like crazy.
Thanks for a great game – love it and can’t wait for more!

I am dying with the “Ace’s High” bonus. I have thought of everything I can do. This game is like crack and I’ve solved everything but this. I don’t want to be told the answer but can anyone hint me in the right direction? Please?

I love the game, but I can’t figure out the last word in “out of the blue” I tried every letter and symbol I could think of and all I got was the first letter. It’s the one between aircraft, world war 2 and the p-38…..I know the first letter is p, but nothing after that. Any new hints?

One quick hint for that… Aces are found in a deck of playing cards… Hope that would get you started

“Cards” was all I could come up with at first. Then I got stuck. I looked it up, and combats and planes were all I could find. That got me a little confused, but it’s starting to spread a little now.

Glad to hear that =) as yes, Ace’s High is in that levels name actually just a name, it doesn’t really have anything to do with the level, besides being the opening word.

Finally got 100% on all 8 games, but only have 2 bonus answers so far(Surfing the web & TV Series) ARGHHH!It’s drivng me nuts.

Help me save face. I am a graduate student in a theatre department and the shw I am directing recently went through it’s dreaded tech week. Where actors and crew are sitting and waiting for most of the night while light and sound cues are fine-tuned. To pass the time we all played iAssociate. They would often turn to me when they were stumped and several times I came up with key answers! But the BONUS for ACES HIGH has me stumped. If you could nudge me in the right direction for the phrase (five letters, and six letters)associated with Space and Knight I would be truly grateful. And my cast will see why I am the director once again.

You have to guess the bonuses in one try, even if you’d get the first letter correct it won’t be revealed.

In the game “Which famous Lee’s”… I’ve completed all except one answer. It connects to Tommy Lee and Drummer and Nikki Six, and I believe the answer is Motley Crue but I can’t figure out to put the umlaut over the O in Motley or the U in Crue. If I just type in Motley Crue, it doesn’t accept the answer. Is there a fix for this? or am I on the wrong track? Thanks!! I LOVE this game! More levels quickly, please, or I will be going through withdrawal.

You can enter the ö and ü by keeping the O (and U) letter pressed for a while, until you get a popup menu from where you can choose the ö (and ü)

Ok, I have everything done in the Blue section except for one. On the left hand side of the puzzle above Wow there is a four letter word that is also associated with warm, cold, and hot. Please, I would like to know what it is. Im sure its so simple and my brain is just not working. Thank you.

Great game. My kids and I play it daily, but we are almost through all the puzzles. Do you know when the next one will be released? Also, will it have to be purchased separately or will it automatically be uploaded to my iPod? Thank you!

New levels are real close, I’ve pretty much completed a rewrite of the game (just the logic behind it, nothing visible) and I should be ready to submit these changes to Apple for review within a few days. After that I’ve got a game engine that hopefully should be much better at supporting more & larger levels, so I’m hoping that I can get back on track with fast regular updates after this!
